Turbó is a municipality in Antioquia's Urabá subregion, on the ecological transition belt linking Colombia with the Panama isthmus. Large tracts of lowland tropical rainforest remain here — a frontier for spotting endangered species such as jaguars and tapirs, and for experiencing living Indigenous cultures.
